Composite Material

using a thermoplastic film, this does not lead to outgassing of acetic acid and thus ensured that it had significantly better mechanical long-term stability of the modules

Temperature Coefficient

Calyxo modules produce at temperatures above 25°C more energy than other solar panels, because of their lower temperature coefficient.
Compared to competitors with the same performance Calyxo solar systems produce up to 9 % more income per year.
Cell structure

Narrower cell distances leads to a reduction of electrical losses
positive impact in terms of the conversion of solar energy into electrical solar energy
under mechanical stress extremely durable due to the applied solderless wiring concept that reduces the modules' internal resistance and thus permits an efficient improved yield.
Cell Properties

The material properties of cadmium telluride is suitable due to its band gap (1,45eV) especially for the conversion of solar energy into electrical energy. The theoretical potential is approximately 29% efficiency.

Reliability

In addition to the ammonia test and salt spray test , the modules have to show a fire class A / B. Solar modules from other manufacturers from the crystalline part often do not reach the pass of this test because of their used EVA-foils.
